Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Hotel
Upon arrival, you will be picked up at the airport by your assigned WildBreeze Safaris driver-guide and transferred to your hotel for relaxation and a briefing about the entire journey. Depending on your time of arrival, you may opt to take a walk through the Entebbe Botanical Gardens, home to a variety of birds and primates. This will be your ultimate introduction to the Pearl of Africa.

Day 2: Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
After an early breakfast, you will embark on your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, home to the endangered Mountain Gorillas. You will make stops at the Equator for photos and at Mbarara for lunch and a stretch. As you continue your journey, enjoy scenic views of savannah grasslands, banana plantations, and herds of Ankole cattle with their long, curving horns, as well as the Kigezi Highlands.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking and Batwa Community Walk
The highlight of the safari awaits you today—gorilla trekking! After an early breakfast, you will be driven to the park headquarters for registration, entertainment, and pre-trekking briefing. You will be grouped and assigned a ranger. The trek will begin at 8:00 AM. Tracking can take anywhere from 1 to 7 hours, depending on the movements of the gorilla family. Once you find them, you will be allowed 1 hour to observe and take photos. In the evening, you will visit the Batwa pygmies for a cultural experience, where you will learn about their traditional way of life.

Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. As you enter through the Ishasha sector, keep an eye out for large herds of Uganda kobs, buffaloes, and elephants. You will arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. Afterward, enjoy an evening game drive to see more animals, including lions and, on occasion, a lone leopard.

Day 5: Game Drive and Boat Cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park
Early in the morning, head to the Kasenyi tracks for a game drive to see early risers such as lions, antelopes, elephants, and buffaloes. After returning to the lodge for lunch, enjoy an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, where you can get close-up views of hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species like Malachite kingfishers, pink-backed pelicans, and saddle-billed storks.

Day 6: Transfer to Kibale National Park - Bigodi Swamp Walk
After breakfast, you will transfer to Kibale Forest National Park, arriving in time for lunch and leisure. In the evening, take a nature walk through the Bigodi Swamp, home to several bird species and primates such as black-and-white colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys, and red-tailed monkeys.

Day 7: Chimpanzee Trekking and Transfer to Fort Portal
After breakfast, transfer to Kibale National Park Headquarters at Kanyanchu for a briefing before embarking on a chimpanzee trekking adventure. Led by an experienced guide, you will venture into the forest to track these fascinating primates. Kibale is a birder’s paradise, and you may also encounter several other primate species. The trek may last 1-5 hours, depending on where the chimpanzees are located. You will spend 1 hour interacting with the chimpanzees. Afterward, return to the lodge for lunch, check out, and proceed to Fort Portal, the tourism capital of Uganda, for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 8: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, you will head to Murchison Falls National Park, passing through the beautiful Albertine Escarpment in the Rift Valley. A lunch stop will be organized en route.

Day 9: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise
After breakfast, cross the Nile to the northern bank of the park for a thrilling game drive. Keep an eye out for giraffes, hyenas, lions, leopards, elephants, and hartebeest. Afterward, return to the lodge for lunch and enjoy a 2-hour boat cruise upstream to the base of Murchison Falls. This cruise will bring you up close to the mighty waterfall, and you will likely see hippos, Nile crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants, and waterbucks along the riverbanks. The area is also rich in birdlife, so be sure to bring binoculars!

Day 10: Top of the Falls, Rhino Tracking, and Departure
On your final day, enjoy breakfast and check out of the lodge. You will visit the Top of the Falls for incredible photo opportunities and a chance to view the falls up close. Afterward, proceed to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a thrilling rhino tracking experience. Following this, you will enjoy lunch before your driver-guide takes you to the airport for your flight back home.
