Safari Highlights
- Day 01: Arrival, Pickup, and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
- Day 02: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kalinzu Forest and afternoon (evening) game drive.
- Day 03: Transfer to Bwindi National Park with en-route game viewing in Ishasha section.
- Day 04: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi, nature and community walks.
- Day 05: Return to Entebbe.
Day 1 Arrival, Pick Up and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. 7-8 hours.
This journey will start from Entebbe International Airport.
You will be picked up by our driver-guide and embark on your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park the most popular savanna park in Uganda and home to over 600 bird species, and close to 100 species of mammals.
You will arrive late afternoon (Evening) and check into your lodge for accommodation and relaxation.

DAY 2 Chimpanzee Trekking in Kalinzu Forest and afternoon game drive.
After an early breakfast, head out for Chimpanzee tracking in Kalinzu forest on the Queen Elizabeth Park boundary. You will encounter many other primates like baboons, monkeys and a variety of bird species. The activity lasts 3 to 4 hours hence you will have time to return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
In the late afternoon, head out for a game drive and be on the lookout for herds of Elephants and different bird species, buffaloes, Hippos, lions and leopards. Leopards are very hard to spot but on a good day, you can always catch them hunting prey.
You could also fix in a two hour afternoon boat drive on the Kazinga channel a 32 kilometer natural channel that links Lake George and Lake Edward. (This will cost an additional fee of 30 USD per person.) The channel is home to several animals like the Nile crocodile, Hippos, elephants and a variety of bird species. Kazinga is a lover’s paradise.
Later, return to the lodge for accommodation and relaxation.

Day 3. Transfer To Bwindi Through Ishasha Land of Tree Climbing Lions
After breakfast, you will embark on your journey to Bwindi impenetrable National park with an en-route game drive through Ishaha Sector home to the tree climbing lions.
Continue to Bwindi one of the richest ecosystems in East Africa. The park contains almost one-half of the world’s population of the endangered Mountain Gorilla, making it an extremely valuable conservation site. Bwindi is also home to several endangered bird species with very limited ranges, and acts as an important catchment area for many rivers in the region. The sights are breathtaking indeed.
You will arrive in the evening and relax as you prepare for the next day’s activities.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking, nature and cultural walks.
Following breakfast at the lodge, travel to National Park Headquarters to meet your guides for the day and begin your gorilla-tracking experience. Experienced guides and trackers will accompany your party on an early morning trek into the dense rainforest on the mountain slopes. The journey, through dense foliage and up steep climbs, is abundantly rewarded with the lifetime experience of viewing mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. The time taken to track the great primates depends on the movements of the particular family being tracked. You will be allowed on hour with the gorillas, take photos with them, while observing them. This is a once in a life time memorable experience every nature lover ought to catch.
Depending on the time spent trekking, you can fix a nature in the forest and a cultural walk among the Batwa communities sharing their experiences with the great apes.

Day 5: Transfer back to Kampala, Mbarara is now a city.
You will enjoy breakfast and transfer back to Kampala with a stopover in Mbarara town for lunch, another stopover at the Equator in Kayabwe for photography and experiments, and then proceed to Kampala or Entebbe airport for your onward flight.
