Murchison Falls
About Murchison Falls National Park
Murchison falls lies at the northern end of the Albertine Rift Valley. It is crossed by the Nile (the longest river in the world) as it flows northwards to the Mediterranean. It is Uganda’s largest & oldest conservation park.
You will catch the big five starting with the Rhinos at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary. Additionally, you will encounter giraffes, antelopes, hippos and crocodiles.
The trip comes with a boat cruise to the world’s strongest waterfalls, “The Murchison falls”. Witness the battle between rocks and water as the waters violently compress through a narrow 7 meters gorge, spraying misty droplets along their wake over a 50 meters’ radius to a spot called “The Devil’s Cauldron.” Leaving a permanent rain bow and a continuous and contiguous roar over the battle field.
